All About the Bills: Sen. Kitchen, Session Highlights and HB 224

Of the clean-up bills and structural bills I worked on was with the Department of Heritage and Arts. That bill codified a number of things that had been in play for a long time, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Commission. This 45-day session was definitely a rollercoaster. Overall, I enjoyed getting to know my colleagues and getting to work on budgetary issues behind the scenes. – Sen. Derek Kitchen
