Vietnam War Veterans Day

Today on Vietnam War Veterans Day, we honor the nine million Americans and their families who served in the U.S. Armed Forces personnel with active duty service between November 1955 to May 1975 and pay tribute to the over 58,000 who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

According to the Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs, approximately 28,000 Utahns served in Vietnam, including almost 400 who did not return home. Utah is home to more than 40,000 individuals who served during the Vietnam War.

We appreciate and acknowledge Vietnam veterans for their service, sacrifices and contributions to our great nation.
