All About the Bills: Sen. Vickers, SJR 9

The bill I ran that caused the most controversy was SJR 9, which creates an Article V convention to discuss issues with the federal government: federal overreach, term limits, fiscal responsibility, etc. I always felt like this was a good tool our founders gave us in the constitution to exert our sovereign rights when the federal government is doing what we’d like them to. – Sen.
