The reading calendars are more colorful these days. Fiscal note bills are now color-coded. Here is what the colors mean so you can follow along. If a bill is highlighted red, it hasn’t been funded and will be circled until/if it is.
If a bill is highlighted yellow, it was amended in a committee or on the floor and is awaiting a new fiscal note so it can be considered on the floor. If a bill is highlighted green, it has been funded and can be debated on the floor. However, a bill cannot pass the Legislature until it receives a majority vote in both the Senate and House.
