All About the Bills: Sen. McCay, SB 188

SB 188 requires the patient’s permission and consent for a pelvic exam. There was a news report that said medical students could still be invited in to provide pelvic exams on women who were under the influence of anesthesia. As a father of four daughters, and having a wife, that seemed like a barbarian practice from days of old.
