All About the Bills: Sen. Anderegg, SB 52

By far the best bill of the session was Senate Bill 52. The bill is going to collect data on our water usage – it will have the water companies themselves do a projected analysis on what it would take for them to do the secondary water metering. We have rights to access water, but we don’t have rights to waste the water. If we’re going to add three million people to the Wasatch Front over the next 25-30 years, we’re going to have to change the way we’re doing business. – Sen. Jake Anderegg
